Hi all,
Rare Blend
www.rareblend.net will be playing at Wilberts this Friday evening with guests KMOB, an avant-jazz trio. Wilberts is located in the Caxton Building in downtown Cleveland, Ohio. I will be playing my new 4001V63, thanks to Chris Pappas!

Hope to see some of you there.

Good luck Jeff!
Of course, you won't NEED luck now that you are wielding a mighty instrument like the 'V'.....Its mere presence will command attention and adulation from the throngs and just MAY elevate you to 'cult' status in the music world....long overdue , I might add..
Go get 'em Jeff and don't leave anything in the bag either!!

I agree with Chris ... the v63 is going to entice more out of your playing, it's sound and feel are very addictive !!
Have a great gig, and knock the walls out !!!

Thanks guys! I already have new strings on the V63 and did my '60s vintage job to the horseshoe pickup. Now I just need to figure out which amp I am bringing.

lol!! I'm sure you'll be fine with whatever setup you use....
You could probably hold your v63 up against a dresser and amplify it sufficiently, with your talent!!

I decided to use my Walter Woods with my custom 1-10 EV cabinet, compact and quite loud!

So Jeff....how'd it turn out? Has the V become a new extension of you?....

Yeah, that V63 is one GREAT bass! Sorry I will still be keeping the 4005WB, besides you got two nice 4005s already!

...well , I am EXTREMELY pleased with my Sunn cab and SVT head...so everyone is happy..good deal!!
And....I won't be needing to "renew" my toasters on the 4005's anytime soon.....string changes for both made a WORLD of difference!!
By the way, that V looks a LOT better on you than me!!
