I have an old lap steel that has 'Electro - Master' on the headstock. No other markings anywhere. Sorry I don't have a photo available. I have been told by a couple of people that it is not a Rickenbacker but my searches haven't turned up anything else with 'Electro' in the name. It has a kind of 'pearlized' finish with bakelite knobs. Plays great. Thanks

Edwin: I am hoping that Richard Shatz will respond to your question in the near future.

I've only seen one of these. I don't know the maker, but it is certainly Rickenbacher. Does it look like this?

Yes! The shape and arrangement of the fittings are the same. I'll try to scan in a picture for you. Is there a way to tell about when it was made? I replaced the tuning keys because the heads on the original ones had become brittle and a couple stripped off. Still have the originals. It still plays great. Thank you so much!

I just read my above post. There is a typo. It is not a Rickenbacher. I don't know who the maker is, but it is not one of the better known ones.
