In more ways than one, Lee...

Nine strings? Are they twinned, must be 'cause the neck looks fairly normal.

Better yet is the seller's wording, slithering back and forth between "copy" and "not sure it's original", just so he can get the hopeful bargain hunters while not admitting it's a fake.

The TRC even says "RICKENBACKER" in some block typeface--probably rubdown lettering, I'll bet.

What's the best thing to use for cleaning vomit off a monitor?

I'd recommend Dr. Stringfellow or Goo-Gone; Adam would say "naphtha".

DS or GG leave a nice citrus scent.

Hard to see the string setup on this. A while ago I saw a Vox 9 string and it had three pairs and three singles, This looks to be the same setup.

Good call, Brian. I've compared this to the other Rickenfaker on eBay (the one being sold by "CME2") and the switch and pot placement, the knob style (witch's hats with pointers), and headstock shape, as well as tailpiece general configuration, seem to point to this as another "Ideal" (MIJ).

Also note the seller's ID: "bradsrick".

"bradsfolly" would be closer.

I've emailed the seller who's given me a couple of better pix. Anyone know how I upload them?

You can upload pictures with the "Upload Attachment" button at the bottom of the box you type in.
The pictures will have to be 500*500 or less and smaller then 36Kb in size.

Anyone noticed it only has 6 strings on it anyways?

Let's buy it, burn it and bury the ashes.

Oops, didn't mean to say, cover, cover but in this case it might fit.
