A talent that left this earth to soon. Happy Birth Day that would have been.

Not only a great talent - a vibrant, peaceful soul who was astoundingly well-grounded and worldly. The world is emptier without him.

I think George chose the 24th as his birthday even though he was "officially" born on the 25th. That reminds me-- those studio demo's he did in '69 on tomorrow's date were out of hand. Happy 62nd George Hari-son. Jai Sri Krsna

"Here Comes The Sun" has always been my favorite Beatles song. R.I.P., George.

George always thought that his B-Day was the 25th, until he turned 40 yrs. old he found out his real day of birth was on the 24th of Feb.

For his birthday I listened to Brainwashed.

For some odd reason, It was George's solo stuff that I liked more after the Beatles breakup. The melodies and, in particular, his slide guitar playing just really sunk in. "Wah Wah" and "What Is Life" were songs I couldn't get enough of whan I was about eleven or twelve. I have to go now, I think I have something in my eye....

" ... They say it's your birthday ... happy birthday to you"

I agree that George's real talent never came to light until after he stepped out of the shadow of John and Paul, and the Beatles as a whole. He is still missed.

Dane, I think George had a lot in the "tank" when the Beatles broke up, he was just breaking into his own as a songwriter with Something and Here Comes the Sun, and here comes a 3 LP solo album! One of my favorites, and always a classy English gentleman. I miss him too.

I liked George with the traveling wilderberries guys ... his slide lead playing was a nice addition ... and his vocals were good too ...

Georgie was born 10 minutes till mid-night on the 24th, but by the time the birth documents were filled out it was well after mid-night the 25th of Feb. so a slight error was made.
