I don't know if they'll ship to Norway, but Stewart McDonald carries guitar case handles:

Rudi, your best bet is to go to a local luggage repair shop.

I just ordered one from Stu/Mac, thanks Jeff! I have a case that needed a new handle for a LONG time!

Steve Cooper, can you please show me the handle that you ordered? I believe the one I found won't fit my case...

Yes, Dave it right. The best place to go is a good luggage repair shop. Most can do latch, handle, and hinge repairs.

I've been looking for a new latch assembly for a bass case. I'd prefer to fix it myself, since the cost of having it fixed by a luggage repair shop would probably cost more than the (non RIC) case is worth.

When in doubt, use a gig bag...nicely padded of course!!

Rudi, this is the one I ordered, for $3!! No worries! My case is a non-Ric case, though.

My problem is that it won't fit my case. I'm not sure if it is the original, but I have always thought so. It's a '75, anyone know how the cases looked like that year?

When I needed a latch for a Ric case I had my local dealer order it for me. The folks at RIC were nice enough to send it out free of charge even though it was not a warranty issue. I didn't even have to pay for the phone call. The latch came in about a weeks time.
Elderly does have some nice leather handles suitable for both cases and for amps. Here's the one for a case:
