not to force any ruthless self promotion.....

but the Roadrunners (youngest tribute-band) will be performing for charity this weekend (Baker Lanes (bowling alley), Cherry Hill New jersey
from 4:30 to 7:00

Please come out and bowl a few rounds and listen to the band.....although that may be hard considering its a BOWLING ALLEY jk....

It is for Sunshine Foundation. And If you dont like bowling come merely for our instruments...a vox T-100/T-60 stack, Rickenbacker 4003, Rickenbacker 325c58, Rickenbacker 330, and Epiphone Casino....just to name a few of the things we use

Rock on Alex...

You keep at it - my first gig was at the new Burger King - we did it for free burgers and fries.
Stage lights were courtesy of my dad's Christmas tree color wheels - Wild!! I wouldn't take anything for the memories...

My first gig was outdoors on a tennis court. My second was in a church doing 'rocked-up' hymns!!

Hey Howard - LOL...

I always have said a successful "gig" involves one, or all of three things:

1) Girls (Chicks - musician lingo)
2) Free food
3) Money

If you get #3 you can always get 1 & 2!!

Yeah, well, Michael....

I was 16 - no chicks, definitely no free food or money. We had to give the church a donation after the hymns but Trev the Rev shouted us a cup of tea!!

On the tennis court we did a Small Faces set - Itchygoo Park, Lazy Sunday Afternoon and my favourite at the time, Tin Soldier. We threw in Gloria at the end (not the 'chick' variety!!).

Mem-o-ries, mem-o-ries............

GLORIA always seems to go over well at our gigs. We play that song in a medly of Born on the Bayou - GLORIA - Rockin' in the Free World. It looks weird as I type it, but for some reason it works.

Michael..

Didn't Every Mothers' Son do that one? Don't recall the Faces doing it.

The good thing about Gloria is that you can do it short and sharp or just keep on going..... and going.... and.....

I believe your right - after "Crimson & Clover" (Tommy James & The Shondells - it all runs together!!)

Image lol, I dont know about that one.....unless its requested. Dont you hate when someone requests a song at a restaurant or bar.....and its completely off from the type of music you play?

Ex. 60's type cover band.....Do you guys know any REM.........or even better....metalica?
