I just wanted to say how much I have learned from this forum in the last year. It was one thing to get my first Ric after, literally, 25 years of desire and then to come to this forum and find out so many things I didn't know. How information is greatly spread among the members, knowledgeable members, and how I learn something new every day. Peter is to be congratulated for his care of the forum, JH for his contributions, John Willams for his expertise on models and value, Paul for his insight and for being, as I wrote in a previous post, what a character, and to the many, many others who have been here much longer than I and have contributed so much. Not trying to get bubbly in my beer but kudos to all of you. I've learned a lot. And you just gotta love a Ric.

Didn't pick up this thread earlier, Stan but I wholeheartedly agree with you.

I want to pay homage to Peter in particular who helped me greatly when I was trying to get some Searchers pics up.

He is an excellent moderator who knows how and when to chime in and calm things down when necessary and asks all the right questions. His knowledge of all things Ric seems to be boudless also.

Thanks, Peter. This forum has become my temple and you are the guru. I bow and scrape before you!!

Cheers

"Knowledge is Power" this place is an incredible source of information. And you feel a real freindship with the members.

This is a real class act.

Geez, Stan, just happened on this. I'm just a newbie who writes a lot...

Peter is truly the center of this whole thing and our Godfather.

JH is the Rickfather.

The Rick lore and knowledge is irreplaceable. Sort of a one-stop source for all info Rick. We're fortunate to be here!

Stan - I'd have to agree with all the above - I know very little about Rickenbackers - I thought it was still spelled "Rickenbacher"!!!
There are several on this forum who are very knowledgeable - Peter's last name is really Rickenbacker and not McCormack!!
