Has anyone tried a Rick bass through one of these? I admire the simplicity of design.

I haven't had an F-1X in a number of years but every bass I ran through it sounded fantastic. Sorry this was before I got back into Rickenbackers so I never played one through the two F-1Xs I had, but I don't think you will be disappointed.
