I am traveling to NYC on Monday. I just wanted to know if there was anyone who knew a good store with some RIC's. If anyone knows please help me out. I need some hours to kill.
P.S Location if possible

Try Rudy's Music
www.rudysmusic.com
'Rudy's Music is located in New York City on 48th Street's historic music row. We specialize in new and vintage electric, acoustic, classical, resonator and archtop guitars as well as basses, mandolins, banjos, ukuleles and pedal steels.'
Or The Music Zoo -
www.themusiczoo.com
Although they are in Little Neck, N.Y and I have no idea where that is in relation to anything else.
In fact, I've never even been to New York.
Sam Ash Custom Shop
www.samashcustomguitars.com
Mannys - 156 West 48th Street
www.mannysmusic.com
Or you could try the Rickenbacker dealers page
www.rickenbacker.com/us/newyork.htm
But like I said, I've never been so I cant vouch for any of them. But it seems 48th Street is the place to go.
Have fun!

If you're gonna take a trip to 48th Street, prepare to be gravely let down.
Sam Ash is usually a complete madhouse and Rudy's has some beautiful stuff - unfortunatley, the staff are a bunch of...not nice guys.
Track down Matt Umanov Guitars and 30th Street guitars, both better bets then the chaos on 48th St.

I second the Matt Umanov suggestion. It seems every time I'm in NYC I wind up purchasing a guitar from them. You can find them at 273 Bleeker St. in the village. As long as you are there you should see whats up at the Blue note.....

Matt really does have a nice store and some cool vintage things, including RIC's. But he's not an authorized dealer so don't be disappointed if you don't see new goods there.

Simon, Little Neck, NY is a section of Queens (which is part of NYC), that borders the Nassau county Long Island border. The rest of the music stores mentioned are in Manhattan.

If you're willing to make the trek on the Staten Island Ferry, Mandolin Bros. is one of the best guitar stores in NYC.
Primarily acoustic/bluegrass instruments, they do have a nice selection of high end electrics. Right now they have a 360/12CW, a Mapleglo 360/12, a Fireglo 360/12, and a Fireglo 4003, among other great guitars. Lots of PRSi and Custom Shop Fender as well.
