I have seen this guitar up close and all I am going to say is, ask for better pictures of the back. Nothing against the seller but the pic of the back is not a revealing as it should be.

Actually, Ted, on my hi-res graphics monitor, the pictrure of the back between the jack and the peghead picture shows some serious large-scale checking. They of course should have edge-lit it to show this flaw better.
Like Adam says, it could be a good candidate for a proper restoration if the price doesn't go out of sight.
"Proper"=no duct tape...

It is a refin, as the auction says but the old finish was not completely removed prior to applying the new finish and there is some unevenness that might be disturbing at that price. The seller is an honest guy and he is definately NOT trying to cheat anyone but I have held that guitar in my hands and inspected it up close. I should also say that I have no interest in this instrument and my comments are made strictly as a responsible member of this forum community.

That's a sharp looking model! I like the way the knobs are mounted. Too much $$ for my taste.
