halas, the picture is ******, but it IS a 360 Silver!
flashy to say the least - I thought only a few basses had been sprayed that way.

Silver was a standard color available on all models for a number of years. Actually, it was just the undercoat for the Midnight Blue.

nice info - did you stumble on the color while preparing the midnight blue or decided to have the silver even if it wasn't "included" in the mb ?
And why a silvery undercoat: to give the mb an extra depth and slight changes when looked from different angles ? (ah never seen one in real life...)

Axel;
Think of it this way, colors like candy apple red are a translucent or transparent red, that need a base coat to get the "effect", and you could use gold or silver to accomplish this.Car painting guys have done this for years.
