Talk to Mike Parks at
www.the-music-connection.com/ric.htm. He is in Raleigh, NC. Perhaps he knows someone.

He does - Mike recommended me a luthier over a year ago - I *believe* his name is Darren Riley. He does a lot of luthiery for Mike Parks, so he's obviously comfortable with ricks. But this is in Raleigh.
Not so sure about the Charlotte area - the only dealer is Sam Ash, which I'd not trust with a Rick.

Thanks guys, I'm going to call Mike in a little while. Sheez, Charlotte really needs a guitar repair person! I can't find any on the net or phone book. Couple guys here work on your Fenders and Gibson but I don't know if I want them "messin'" around with my RIC babies.

I wouldn't trust any Fender/Gibson guy to a Rickenbacker. Unless they are WELL versed in things RIC.
