They'll never have to worry about a bidding war on this one. They are the "fool on the hill."

They've probably paid $100 in relisting fees, and they still don't realize they are hundreds over the price they usually sell for.

This is the kind of thing that has made Music Ground so famous.

Have you ever thought of paying $3500.00 for a v63

No! It was tough paying half that.

That's a beautiful bass, but they are NUTS to ask that price! It's no wonder they can't sell it.

I've sent them loooads of emails saying, hey - look. You will NEVER sell it for that price.

But hey, their bass, they can do whatever the heck they like. Good luck to them, though! Image

And if you scroll down to "See more great items from this seller" there is a 1965 Ash Blond Fender Precision....this bass just sold on E-bay only two days ago for just under $2,500 if I remember correctly. Now Musicground has it for sale with an opening bid of $9,645--and they're using the photos of it from the original auction, which is how I know it's the same bass as I had it on my watched items list in my E-bay. That's one hell of a markup in price.....which I suppose isn't TOO bad, a '65 P-bass for $2,500 is kind of a steal. Still.....

I wonder if I could get $12,000.00 for my '65 Jazz!
I bought it for $350.00. Now there's a mark-up!Image
That would fund a couple Ricks!

Hey Kevin, in the UK you may be closer to that than you'd think! What really annoys me is Music Ground openly admitted to me that they paid £700 for this V63 (in fact both, as they bought two).
