Hi all, many thanks to all the posters in all the different areas of this site! After several months of research, and a field trip to Alto music in Middletown NY, I am the proud owner of a 360/6 in Mapleglo. Although I went hoping for a 12, I just found the neck a little narrow for my fat hands and 12 strings. Maybe after I learn to finesse my new baby a little better, I can handle the 12. Bought a new amp while I was there - a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe. Havin a blast! Can't wait for my old pedals to come back from the shop, although I did add a flanger. Just have a soft spot for that sound. Any recommendations on a volume/wah pedal? Cry Baby or anyone like something different?

Congrats! Now you'll just have to get a 660/12 to satisfy your need for a 12 string!

I used to have a HRD, great sound and very loud.

I played a 360/6 mapleglo last Saturday and was severely tempted but financial considerations ruled. I found the 360 just fantastic - much easier to play than my 330. Can you tell us what you were playing before the 360 and how you find the neck and action compared to it/them?

Agree with Jeffrey - get a 660/12 next! You'll have a blast with that baby as well.

I'm actually considering a 4003 also (just to be different!)

I bought a Behringer Vamp 2 w/ Effects and Amp/cabnet models for my Ric 360/6 in Midnight Blue. They run about $129 and have 32 models 16 Effects and you can mixed multiple arrays. Sounds great on leads and rhythms. Check it out, cost less than Line 6 & Pods so i got the Bass Vamp too for my cheap Washburn Bass. Sound great through my VS2480CD. Love my new Ric too.

I played strictly acoustic prior to the Ric. I have a Fender 12 string and Bondz (local guy) 6 string. I used to play bass, had an all Peavey rig, sold it all years ago when the instruments went under the bed (kids & all). Wish I had the bass stack back (200 watt Peavey head w/parametric EQ & twin 15 bottom!). Anyway, I played a 330 and some twelves and a gorgeous Gretsch Tennessee Red which almost came home with me. And as a former bass player, that Jetglo 4003 was mighty tempting. I live in upstate NY, and NO ONE seems to stock anything in Rics around here at all, so I'd like to try a 660/12, but that probably won't happen soon. I really wanted a 12 string, although I absolutely love the 360! I'm also considering a set of bass pedals...so many instruments, so little cash...Frank, I'd looked at a Behringer acoustic amp and it looks like a lot for the money. I'm kind of old school I guess and I'm a little put off by an amp that seems more complex than my PC, so that cured me of the modeling amps... I had tried a Vox valvetronic...maybe I just need more experience with them to be able to program them...I always got the feeling that my hour or so of playing would be spent tweaking settings instead.

Bill, you might also want to give Line 6 a try. Their modelling amps are very user-friendly and good value for money.
