So, I'm flipping through the WSJ at lunch and get to the back cover of the A Section. There's a full page, color ad for IBM. I'm about to blow by it when I see that it's about how an unnamed (and I assumed fictional) guitar maker uses it's IBMs.
Then I see that one of the people in the ad is polishing a 360, and that there are some 360s, a 4004, and a 4003 and others on a rack in the ad.
I think to myself: "Self, one random Rick in an ad is a cooincidence, but there's more to it if there are 7 in there." so I look at the ad more carefully and someone that looks quite a bit like the pictures I've seen of Mr. John Hall in the ad as well. However, RIC is never mentioned in the ad.
Anyway, if you get the chance, check it out.
