I almost had a heart attack when I saw those pictures. After calming down, I am now of the mind that those are the BEST, COOLEST, and most AWESOME 360F's I've ever seen. At least amoug the 360F's that I've seen that were not made by Rickenbacker... The 'orange one' for sure isn't real. I'm still thinking about the MG... We need a 360F expert. Help! (I'm tempted to start a new thread) |

Good idea John. Go for it. There looks to be a Gretsch tailpiece on the red finished one. |

Well I don't want to ruin the fun. But they are all fake... Tim doesn't own a Rickenbacker... (He is still lucky)

On the MG: Tailpiece is wrong, proportions wrong--pickguard is right shape, but too close to the edge of lower bout. No "catseye" soundholes on either! Have I begun to redeem myself? I of course wondered, after hearing tales about how rare any Rick is in Oz, how this guy got his hands on two of the rarest. |

These are pretty good copies. What tipped me was that the 'orange' one had a mono output... The inlays looked wrong also... |

Yep, should have looked closer myself - picked up on the Gretsch tailpiece as soon as I looked at the other thread. And it wasn't even an April 1 post!! |
