Was looking around the web today, and I went to WITH web site. They posted a 360/12 v.65(listed as 330/12 v.65). There is no manufacture year listed. I'm curious to know if maybe this guitar is from a limited run from the mid 80's to early 90's. I know that there were limited edition models(360/12 v.66 & 370/12 v.67)sent to Japan a couple of years ago. This guitar though, seems different from what I've seen posted from the Japan models. The headstock looks like it's from the 80's, like a McGuinn. I have a 1990 381/12 that also has this type of headstock. The fret markers almost look like they are made of crushed pearl. Just wondering if anyone saw this or has ever heard of this model. |

Based on the shape of the upper 'horn' this appears to be over-run from the Carl Wilson Limited Edition model. Sj |

Believe some models made from '64 to '70 did have crushed pearl inlays, not all.Don't know about reissues though. And on the 360 it's hard to tell what kind of bridge is on it. Can anyone tell for sure? |

I think this guitar is from the 60's. The headstock shape is quite different from the Carl Wilson 12 string models. Also, the price on it is too high for a newer one. |

Sorry, I was basing it on the assupmtion this was a newer instrument. It does appear to be a 1965 that is substantially 'off model." Note the left channel in the headstock and the general headstock shape. Oops. Sj |

IMO the nameplate is not 60's manufacture, it looks like one from a V64, or a Carl Wilson. In other words, 'modern' vintage. It's easy to see why Scott would say what he did, I'm with him on the shape of the headstock, it sure has the sillouette of a vintage re-issue neck. WITH has had some wacky stuff in the past, this one could be lightly modded to get it closer to original spec....YMMV.. |
