I'm glad to see it was pulled.

I've made my living for 20+ years buying and selling instruments. You would truly not believe the arrogance, ignorance, and amazing attempts at flat out deception I've seen. I just laugh at it now.

I posted this guy's response because it was so typically over the top I thought you guys would get a kick out of it.

Besides, I am a "nerdy know it all..."

Scott

You got it in one, Dane.

'Chundering' is a favourite backyard sport of the young and carefree over here. You use a barrel (either 9 or 18 gallon in the old terms), a hose, some gas, a tap and some glasses.

The glasses are optional as many have been seen simply lying under the tap for a fill up!

The object of the game is to empty as many barrels as possible in the shortest amount of time. After that there are all sorts of resulting games.... how much, how far, etc.!!

Unfortunately I'm too old and infirm to play any more. :-)

Years ago there was a song - 'Chunder in the Ol' Pacific Sea' which actually made the top 40. From the classic Barry MacKenzie movies.

Raw chunders better. And more violently. That's important, isn't it?

Some friends of mine in Christchurch, NZ played in a 'bush' band...they had a gig one night on a boat moored in Littleton harbor. The next day I asked them how it had gone. Theresa McGuire, one of the fiddlers, said "Oh, there was SO much CHUNDER..."

Anyway, Paul: I think I've figured out my difficulty in 'getting rid of' my doubleneck...I'm an ignorant seller looking for an arrogant buyer. I wonder what websites those guys look at...

I figure there's always Plan B: I sell a kidney to your South American friend, buy a round trip to London and trade it on the street for 3000 Pounds Of Sterling Silverware, or whatever those Limeys call it...

(or as Howard would say, "Pommie Bahstids"...)

Conversely, there's never been a better time in world history to be a "Yank"!

(I apologize, Tony...and there: I've given you something with which to construct some rhymed couplets, if you'd like...)

Thankyou Dane. I must admit to particularly enjoying your posts, but I wasn't too sure about that one!
