This company is notorious for putting used Ric's up for auction on eBay at ridiculous prices. The market value of a brand new 660/12 is about $1450, that includes the recent price hike. This dolt has a used one for $1699. Note that he says the guitar has "humbucking pick-ups". I emailed them and told them they're nuts and ignorant. Jeez ...

Good work! I've noticed this as well and always from this seller. Hopefully a prospective RIC buyer will look elsewhere.

It's supply and demand, as you know. The very week I bought my MB 660-12 new for $1275, a used FG one sold for $1265!

Arrogant sellers and ignorant buyers. Formula for profits.

$10 here, $10 there, pretty soon we're talking about real money!

I see no problem in charging whatever you want.
Ignorant? Yea. Smart? Yea

Well, judging from some of their other over-priced stuff sitting there, don't count on it.

Funny thing is: if GC just wants to dump the last of the Ric inventory, than do it at a price to move. Music 123 has a blem. 360 for $935 right now. When 123 dumps stuff, it is priced to move. GC is penny wise pound foolish, because the end result is I have a negative outlook on anything they do.

GC didn't have any inventory to "dump"- they were the ones complaining to us that their cupboard was bare.

This one is properly tagged as pre-owned and I suspect we'll see more and more used RIC gear at GC.

Bare cupboards are meaningless when their staff is only knowledgeable about half the inventory.

And it seems to be the half with "thrasher" tattooed on its fore,

er, HEAD.

This one GC store (grep444) has 9 rics in row listed on Ebay.
