Thoughts on why the 660/6 model is significantly higher in price than a 620/6 ? |

1) Pickups 2) Checkered binding. Apparently it's significantly more difficult (or expensive)? To make 3) Wider neck = higher demand for 12-string models 4) figured wood |

The cost difference is due mainly to three reasons: 1. Checked Binding 2. Checked Binding 3. Checked Binding Oh, yeah, the figured wood costs about 5 times as much. |

When I die, I would like my coffin to be made from highly figured maple with a fireglo finish...and checkered binding where appropriate... I am serious...(notice there is no smiley face inserted here) |

Did you know that, outside of our use of conversion varnish, that the biggest use of it is on caskets? We do heat and freeze tests on our product and I suppose the coffinmakers do some long term testing of their own . . . |

This puts my mind at ease, as I'm planning to be buried with my 4001F... |

When I opened the case which contained my brand new RIC 330, something wonderfully fragrant pierced the air. Was that originating from the guitar (varnish) or the case? |
