Gosh, it sure is a pretty shape, spoiled by an ugly switch assembly and ill-proportioned guard. Looks like Rick's answer to Freddy Tavares' Fender Marauder. But I'm sure somebody here can tell us for sure. |

That one has been the subject of other threads which I can't reference off the top of my head. I do remember that the dealer wants some astronomical amount for it ... |

If I recall correctly, it was a prototype and there are four pickups hidden under the guard. |

I'm had thought the guitar had sold back last fall, it may be just a rumor.... And yes, that's exactly what it is, an experimental/prototype. |

How cool would that be if they had a current protoype....you could have sersious bragging rights. "No you can't buy this man, its experimental!" |

This was the Quilla "Porky" Freeman prototype, just a test fixture for the hidden pickup concept. The pickups, pickguard, and switches were not done in the factory, as you can tell. |

The switches were done in Bulgaria. Seriously, this is an intriguing bit of history and I'd love to know more about it. |
