about the g String, I was just worried that a .10 string could be stretched to a g without breaking....octave Frank? Lol Steverok....I haven't had the time to try to post a picture but... how would you optimize the string spacing at the nut?

You can use a .010 for the G Octave. THe Rickenbacker stock set does.

Don't know why anyone would worry that a .010 E could be tuned up to a G; consider that if you are stringing a 6 string w/ .010s, if you are doing full blown blues note bending way up the neck, you can choke an .010 Past G without breaking it. So why would simply tuning it up to G be any different?
