Jeez, the limit of 36K allows me to most no decent photos. Maybe I need to be a "senior member" to be able to post a better picture ? I see some stunning photos on here all the time.

Anyway, this is my first "virgin" Ric, presumedly, straight from MF. When I first took it out of the box, I was floored. That feeling of a new guitar, especially a Ric, never gets old. It has that smell, like shiny black petroleum. The JetGlo is sensational looking against the white binding. It doesn't really smudge if you wash your hands !! The set-up seems quite good - action good, intonation a little flat; tuned it up, stretched the strings out, tuned it some more, started playing it through my Line 6 Flextone with compressor, little reverb and delay, instant heaven. I would say a little smoother than my 330, maybe not quite as much punch, time will tell ...

I did notice two small blemishes, one near the R tail piece and rear strap lock, and one on the back of the headstock. Also, there appears to be a "crease" in the front of the body, that you can see at certain angles, perpendicular to the neck, near the upper horn. I don't know if that's just how they are, but she sounds good. These minor imperfections, hmm, do they add up enough to relinquish my new baby? Probably not, it looks stunning despite them.

Gorgeous, oh man! JG is sooo clean and formal and sleek. Your picture is just fine. Gets me all fired up!

Re: "crease". If we wanted perfectly flat JG guitars, we'd get them made from granite!

You sure can't take this one for granite, though!

(Didja see that one comin'?)

Steve that's a good looking Jetglo 360, the contrasting white and black pickguard is amazing.

If you want help posting your pictures I'm always glad to do it for anyone, e-mail whatever you want to be posted in this thread here: [email protected]

I really have nothing better to do. :-)

I know I'm like a proud papa. I'll tell ya', this is the guitar I always wanted, and now I have one. A jetglo Rickenbacker 360 has a persona all its own, it makes you want to play lament after lament, it makes you want to wear your best rock and roll garb, it makes you want to sing, it looks like a tuxedo, that chimes like a dark angel. I have everything I could ever want now, I may never buy another guitar !!

Are you sure you'll never buy another guitar? Not even a JG 360/12?

Here's a bigger version of the same picture:

This is killing me! I've sworn to wait until the end of the year for a jetglo 360-12. It's just too hard I tells ya.

Looks great Steve. Congratulations
