Looks like something you would hook up to your furnace. |

So does this mean the most popular Rickenbacker model has been identified? For me, I think that the most popular Rickenbacker is the 4001/3 bass. |

I have never used a Phantas...etc. I think it's some sort of light show/color organ projector for those 60s places where you had to be there or be cubic. |

Peter, I am guessing along with you. I'll bet the 4001/4003 is the most popular Rickenbacker. |

Howdy, Among 6-string guitars I'd imagine that the 330 sells the most and among 12-strings the 360. It's possible the 4001 Bass outsells any one of these though. Larry |

4003 wins overall. 330 for guitar, no doubt about it IMO. |

Anyone know if there is a big difference in sound between the 330 and 360? I know in the late 80's early 90's, all I saw in the shops were 360's (thank you Peter Buck and Smithereens). |

The 4003 is definitely the champ in sheer numbers produced with the 360 and 330 running neck and neck. If by "popular" you mean iconic than I suppose that's open to debate... |
