I just watched the Eagles w/Joe Walsh farwell tour on TV an noticed Joe played a jetglo Ric but I couldn't recognize the model. It looked kind of like a 650C but it didn't have a maple neck and it only had 2 control knobs yet it had 2 black pups and no chrome surround.

Any ideas what Ric Joe was playing?

It is the Model 230GF (Glenn Frey) Jamie.

Thanks Peter. I never thought to look under the limited editions section of Rics.

So that one sure looks unique.

They are pretty rare too; I don't think RIC finished the run.

J.C., I never heard that before, was it because they were unpopular?

I can't remember where I read that. Maybe someone can help me out. I don't know why they did. I do know they also made a few Glenn Frye signature basses that looked just like the guitar. Maybe it was a last minute thing to make the basses instead of finishing the guitar run? Just speculating.

We were asked by members of Glenn's staff to do some things we were uncomfortable with. I decided I'd rather end the edition early rather than do the things asked which I felt would diminish the value of the guitars already produced.
