Howdy,

Yesterday I put on lay-away my first 360! i've owned 330's a 320 and still have a 620-12 but this'll be my first 360 and I'm as excited as a kid before Christmas!
I'm getting it from Shreve Audio in Shreveport,La. They also had a 330-6 in FG which had a substantial amount of flame-on the back! (?)It also had a lovely fingerboard; the Rosewood having a unique grain pattern.
Anyway, this 360 isn't flamey or birdseye-riddled, but it played and sounded better (to me) than the aforementioned 330. So help me, the 330 was louder! I don't understand that..Perhaps the p/u's were raised a tad higher?
I'm really excited. Like most of you I've had a "thing" for Rickenbackers before I even knew what they were called! I think Rickenbackers are more than just an electric that can be used like an acoustic onstage. Forgive my rambling, I'll post more about it later. It's great to have discovered this board!

Respectfully,
Larry

Congratulations Larry. There are few things as exciting as waiting for a Rickenbacker to arrive. It can certainly make for sleepless nights akin to the excitement of Christmas as a child. Glad you are enjoying The Rickenbacker Forum.
