I use a Sharpie at work and methanol (a.k.a. methyl alcohol, wood alcohol, MeOH) does a good job removing it from impervious surfaces like glass. I also have used MeOH to remove Sharpie ink from whiteboards abused by those who want to write their nessage in stone ... works OK but it does make the surface more porous to the ink of the dry-eraser markers. I don't own any signature models yet. I would love a Peter Buck guitar if one was offered, though! |

Wrap it up, I'll take it although I'd replace the signature upper pickguard with a regular one.... actually I'd replace them both with black plastic to matich the trussrod cover. |

Sold for $2,025. Not a lot of interest in this model I guess. I thought it would have gone for more considering it is a signature model and a 381. Maybe the active electronics and HBs turned people off as most seem to want toaster pickups. |
