David Leon Who Played John Lennon In The Original Beatlemania (The Broadway Show) Used It For His Shows After He Left Beatlemania. To Make It Clear, THIS Guitar Was NEVER Used For An Official Beatlemania Show, Just By The Guy Who Played John Lennon Later On.
The Original “R” Tailpiece Has Been Removed And It Has Been Replaced With A Gibson Vibrato To Give It The Lennon Look And Sound. Of Course To Do That, They Had To Add Extra Holes That Originally Were Not There. The Original Holes For The Placement Of The “R” Tailpiece Are Still Visible So That The “R” Can Easily Be Re-Installed. There Is Paint Wear Near The Vibrato And A Little On The Back.
