- This bass started with a cream color and black binding. The paint was removed and sealed. There is still some original paint in the body cavity and around the neck pocket. Body was sanded around the edges to round it a bit. Some binding broke off around the body and neck as you can see. A bit of a gouge happened by the input jack. The neck had a small crack but was professionally repaired. Solid and barely noticeable (see picture). Neck is straight, frets are good. Plays and sounds great! Has a old Peavey Ferrite pickup in the bridge position. Wiring is from a newer 4003 with a single input jack. After market truss cover. Ric tuners and Ric neck pickup. 1984 Ric bridge was added.
