- Extremely rare 1948-9? Rickenbacker lap steel guitar amplifier. Labeled as the Professional Model 12, also known as the "RICK" due to the speaker grill design. A very cool and desirable 12 watt tube amp that has more recording soul in it than I've ever heard. Kind of a cross between an early Fender tweed and a twin, just not nearly as loud only being 12 watts. This vintage Rickenbacker has two 6V6 tubes powering it. I got this in a trade years ago, and now it's time to let it have a new home. 12" speaker, "chicken head" knobs,The power cord has been replaced prior to my ownership, but original was in the bottom of the unit and is included. Any service was done prior to my ownership, but controls are quiet, and it seems to work as it should. The original leather strap is broken and needs replaced, or not. This would make some harp player very happy! Very nice shape. You would be hard pressed to find another one.
