Modifications include toaster top pickup added in neck position and the additional corresponding volume/tone controls. Metal pick guard. This guitar is heavily and naturally relic'd from tons of gigging in the late 60's and early 70's. Because of the history and what this guitar has seen, I felt it inappropriate to "fix" any blemishes or mods. As such, outside of scuffs and scratches, you will see these other battle scars:
1. Two tuning heads bent (D and G strings-Tuning action works fine)
2. Metal pickguard dented
3. Metal Rickenbacker logo headstock plate dented
4. Missing Knob
5. Headstock/nut discoloration likely from cigarettes held in the strings
6. Oxidation on the bridge
If you want to play this guitar, it needs a good bit of work. Fretboard level, replace missing/damaged parts, polishing of oxidized bridge, rewinding of pickups, etc.
