     Originally 360/12 middle PU added

    Upon investigation by a purchaser who returned this guitar to the seller, several aspects of this guitar should be noted: 1) the pots in the wiring harness are dated after the jackplate date of July 1966, 2) blue molded caps and turquoise cap are missing, replaced with orange drops, 3) strong evidence (see photo) that middle pickup was added aftermarket to a 360-12, 4) pickguards to not appear to be original, 5) bridge, pickup covers and some other hardware appear brand new when contrasted to the patina on the jackplate. There is also a notation in the control cavity that appears to say "modified 10-67"
