I bought a 4001 White Rickenbacker bass on July 8 1979 from Knut-Koupee Music in Minneapolis. The last four digits of the serial number was 3054. It was stolen in March 1989 in Hinton, Alberta. I loved that guitar. Please email David at if found.

I recently suffered a break in, and massive amounts of gear were
stolen. Among the items not yet recovered are the ones listed below.
Should you come across any of them, I'd appreciate it if you'd contact
me, or the Schenectady NY police. My email, spamblocked is
covertnospam@capital.net or call Pat Covert (518) 374-7658.
Schenectady police are (518) 382-5247. The incident number to refer to
is 9051695. Thanks for
any help. I'm pretty much devastated by this, but if you come up with
anything leading to recovery, I'll scrape up some sort of reward.
Rickenbacker 4001 bass: ser# MG 2877 Blue, with checkerboard binding
DiMarzio neck pickup, Bartolini under bridge pickup, and a couple of
extra mini switches on the pickguard. It was in a very slim case with
a lot of stickers on it.
