There have been a number of stories told about Mike Pender of the Searchers. This one comes from Kenneth Hedloof of
Sweden. Apparently Mike took the time to chat with Ken at a concert in Stockholm in the mid 1990's and autographed his Rickenbacker 12 String. Mike related that
played a 360/12 (seen above) in the 1960's with the Searchers, however, at some point this guitar was stolen. He
currently plays an Aria 12 String on the road.
