Micro mini confluence in Northern Michigan
This past Sunday Hank Kelly (tamborineman) and his lovely wife opened their home to me for a Rick get-together. We played each others Ricks and other guitars. The 3 hours I was there flew by like it was five minutes. It was a memorable moment for me.

Hi Ken. It was my pleasure. It was a privilage to play your beautiful 63c/12er and your self-built 6 string is amazing. The jamming was great fun. We covered quite a few Beatles songs including Here Comes The Sun, You Can't Do That, In My Life and I'll Be Back Again. That 63c is awsome. Come back any time.

That ain't the UP! You guys don't even qualify to say "Eh!" in TC. We need to get a MI Confluence going, there are actually quite a few of us. Also, Jeffery Hoyt is up your way too. Haven't heard from him in a while though.ken_j wrote:Traverse Citydr_bob wrote:... How far north in Northern Michigan?

OK then how does the Northern LP suit you? No I don't say "Eh" but then I am from and still reside it the Detroit Metro area. I had planned on doing a Michigan confluence a couple of years ago but my work hours interfered with it. I was hoping to use the concert hall at a friend's music store ( I never asked due to my work) but the tough Michigan economy is hitting him hard and he is now having a going out of business sale. Know anyone in the market for a Steinway? He dosen't sell guitars but is great guitarist with a nice collection. I do have time now to try and put something together if there is enough interest.

I'd be up and ready for MichCon II. Maybe we could get Jeff R to come back for it too. I can think of 10 forumites in the state just off the top of my head.
