Usually I'm a big Burgundyglo fan but this one doesn't do it for me somehow... must be the black pickguard!

I think white would make for a much more striking contrast as well, but that's an easy fix!Wildberry wrote:Usually I'm a big Burgundyglo fan but this one doesn't do it for me somehow... must be the black pickguard!

Re: The Rickenbacker Burgundy Experiment
Ordinarily I would agree, but I chose the 325C64 nomenclature because of its square heel. X-bracing too, I believe, but don't hold me to that. Ben may be able to verify.rickendelic wrote:Not to be "That Guy" but, doesn't the R tailpiece make it a 320C64?
Re: The Rickenbacker Burgundy Experiment
I may well be wrong, but I've heard the short scale models never had x-bracing at all. (Maybe less flex in the top/bottom because of the smaller size ? )kennyhowes wrote:rickendelic wrote: X-bracing too, I believe, but don't hold me to that.

I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

It looks like an Italian sportscar. What a hot little instrument

For the record, here's some info (only saved one photo) on the guitar discussed on this thread:

Amazing color shade. They did that just by mixing a little black with the FG red paint?
