Re: U.K Stores and Sightings
A little more brain power applied to this gives us a slightly different view.
To buy 1 grommet from Rosetti, you have to pay postage of £5.00 making the total cost on 1 grommet £5.80 vs us at £2.99
To buy 4 from Rosetti you would pay £8.20. We have a pack of 4 for £6.99 including shipping.
So if you take a deeper look we are, on both fronts and with most spares, cheaper than Rosetti.
Thanks for bringing this to everyones attention.

I've been hit by this in the past when I urgently needed to get hold of a couple of small parts (screws). If at all possible, when dealing with Rosetti it definitely pays to try to plan in advance and order a good number of spare parts at the same time as IIRC their postage charge stays flat at that £5 level even if you place a large order. I guess Rosetti's main focus is on larger trade orders so they probably see the £5 more as a minimum handling charge to make it worth their while dealing with small private orders at all. When I've dealt with them, regardless of the value of what I was ordering, they have been very helpful (...as has Tim!).

You may want to reconsider that post Tim, as I believe that you are breaking forum rules with that statement.SoundAffectsMusic wrote:A little more brain power applied to this gives us a slightly different view.

I can't offer an opinion about the price but all indications, including the internal records support that this is a genuine instrument.fireglo67 wrote:OK. Lets bring this one to everyones attention.

Re: U.K Stores and Sightings
That is a very generous response Tim. I don't think I would have been as classy as that. You have been very helpful in giving me advice in the past Rob and I'm grateful for that but some of your posts where you are having a go at Tim (Sound affects) are out of order. I could give you many examples of the fantastic, courteous, helpful service that I have received when dealing with Sound Affects. I have always found the prices to be very competitive as well (Just one example..I get my Ric strings from Sound Affects - 3 packets for £14.95 -superb value) As for Tim breaking forum rules Mark.....If YOU or SOMEONE ELSE are having a go at his prices and if YOU or SOMEONE ELSE are comparing them to other competitors (erroneously in the case of the spare parts- or at least failing to see the bigger picture such as failing to combine original product cost with postage) then Tim has every right to put you right on that by giving you examples of why his prices are fair and competitive.
