Poor Man's Son
Poor Man's Son
Does anyone remember this song by The Reflections? A great melody and nice harmony. particularly during "No man rich or poor could ever love you anymore than me,"
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Thanks very much Roy. A fine song Roy and I especially like the Rockin Berries' guitar version of The Reflections more orchestrated release.

Roy: I have found out that Poor Man's Son / Comin' At You was a 1965 release by the Reflections and so at this point it is how a toss-up for me as to who released it first. More research is needed on this one. One thing is for sure, the arrangement of both versions is almost identical.

According to what i have gleamed after being made aware of the track by your good self, The Reflections did it first.
But here's a query just got a version of Love Me doby a band called the Haircuts rleased in 63 though some say 64 the "b" side was She loves You released on the Cameo Parkway label and one source tells me they were British but personally I think that is incorrect. Any one know anything about them, I get the impression a one off release
