Melbourne Mini-Confluence

Post by ozover50 »

We're having another one of those you-beaut mini-confluences at Trotty's today (Sunday 28th). These are always great fun, so I'm looking forward to it immensely. This one is a pre-cursor to Brian Medway's arrival on our sunny shores on November 24th..... gotta plan some stuff! :D

One of the more important aspects of this one is the official 'swapping of the 360FGs'. Both Greg Rahilly and I have one of these and it seems that the 'babies were switched' when we had our Jamtin session in May when Alisha was here. Greg rang me a week or so back and asked me to check my serial number and wouldn't you know it????

I'm sure we'll take some pics of the day and post them here...........

Thanks to Darren and Robyn for their hospitality, and to Gregg, Ron and Howard for making it an enjoyable day.

Had some fun with the jams, even trying bass for the first time. I learnt a thing or two from maestro Darren as well.

Highlight.........Darrens "All Along The Watchtower".

Lowlight........suddenly realising I have lost more hair than I thought :(

Looks like a great time, guys! :)

I especially like the RIC touch in Darren and Robyn's home, the kitchen with a checkerboard floor. 8)
