Suggestion (#1000)

Post by longhouse »

Possibly fueled by insomnia or maybe inspired by my recent experiences, I would like to use 1000th post to suggest a possible new forum. It seems we have every facet of Rickenbacker guitars covered here -except perhaps the workings of being in a band. With a silver Tolex case at my side I've formed bands, auditioned, rehearsed, and performed on all manner of stages.

I'm curious if there is any interest in pursuing this line of conversation.

And I would like to take this opportunity to say it is a pleasure to be part of the group here; it's a privilege to share in the collective knowledge and passion.

Thanks,

Noel

Congrats on 1000! :D

Being For The Benefit Of Musicianship would qualify for that forum, I would think.

Thanks everyone.
Maybe you're right, Jeffrey, BFTBOM probably encompasses this topic. Perhaps another descriptor ...for the working musician.

Both Jdog and myself have plenty of experience as working musicians under our belts and would welcome such discussion into our humble forum section. :)

Noel: A good idea and I see you have already received the attention of John Biscuti. I think that this forum is ideal for this subject area. I have moved this thread here so that its origins can be seen.

Congratulations on breaking the 1000 barrier, by the way.

Sorry to be late to the party - just saw this! :) Weekends have been spent almost all-recording lately as the second album nears completion. That means less forum time for the dog :(
