Quick Toaster Question

Post by Coach »

I am dying to replace my Hi Gain with the new toaster I purchased on my 650F, however it is going to be a while before I can get the Toaster cover gold plated to match the rest of the Ric.

It looks like the actual Toaster pickup will fit inside the cover for the Hi-Gain. My question, will it change the sound of the Toaster not having that middle bar across the face? If it will then I will just wait until I can get the plating done.

It might be a few months before I have enough parts to take in to my plater so I could spend most of the winter with the Hi-Gain cover on there and if it will work correctly that would be fine ( think Stealth Toaster ).

Input?

Thanks

See John Hall's post on this thread commenting about the most recent RIC Factory one-off: viewtopic.php?f=68&t=407035

Toaster-top pickups in (black) high-gain mounts, didn't have black toaster-top mounts available.

Must be okay if RIC is doing it on a high-end one-off.

Thanks Ron,

That was just what I needed to know. The Toaster goes in this weekend!

Best regards,
