difference between neck and bridge pickup

Post by jetlennon »

Hi guys,

I just got a pair of hi-gain pickups (neck and bridge) to possibly put in my 650D. I just wondered how i can tell the difference between the pups because they look very similair to me.

Thanks in advance

Hi Gains should have adjustable poles with hex button tops the HB1s are just a smooth top. I hope you meant visual difference, sonic difference is a different story entirely

The pole spacing is narrower on the neck pickup and wider at the bridge. With the wider string spacing of a 650, using two bridge pickups may be a better choice. I would measure the sting spacing at each pickup location and compare to the pickups to make that determination.
