What's wrong with just getting a standard USA Fender Jazz Bass in Olympic White? Or, like we say about Rickenbacker instruments in general on this forum, why get a copy when you can get the real deal?

Cause sometimes the copies are better than the original.

Actually it's because it's inexpensive and the headstock brand is Marquis.
My bandmates in a Soul band I perform with call me Marquis.
I know there are Harmony Marquis basses floating around. I would take one of those instead as long as it was playable

Quality decal makers are a dime a dozen. Just get a decal made to your liking, and pimp up another bass! Done and done...

I know I could but, I just like the bass what can I say?

Interesting that the bass uses the same bridge as that of an OLP Stingray (licensed interpretation - I wouldn't call it a copy).
