Randyz: I like your thinking. A 1996 would look pretty good next to the c63. Cheers, RSG

I want to record some six string tracks, but unlike many of you poor devils, my "only" Ric is my 360/12c63. Anything wrong with removing the octave strings for some tracks (i.e., will I get essentially the same sound as a six string)? Cheers, RSG

I think each reference is a single guitar, as the dealer sites show multiple guitars of same model (e.g., NCM has 9 360/12c63 references). Still means lots of guitars coming in the run, but how many per week does Ric produce? I think Fender produces about 11,000 Squires a day. Ric, probably less tha...

Kog et al., Yes the posted photos are spot on! I keep opening the case to make sure myself. With the understanding that all c63's are hand shaded, so some variation is expected, the "Ring of Fire" is not only the precise vintage color I was hoping for, but the application technique looks t...

Many Thanks to Stuart! And, yes, the additional pics show the 400 thread-count Sea Island Cotton sheets that the c63 rests on when not being played. Cheers, and thanks to RIC for continuing to make this classic axe. (It's been 1968 in my house for the past two days)...Yeah Baby!!

Well gents, my Christmas came yesterday (after only 2 years wait), and she is absolutely smashing! I previously owned a 360v64, and the most striking aspect of the c63 is the finish. The fireglo absolutely has the look and color quality of the vintage 360 FG, where the v64 was more orange and airbru...

I always appreciated Jay's help on production info and and his willingness to provide help on obscure questions like verifying serial numbers on vintage Rics. You don't find that in every company. This also means there is one less really good musician in Southern California. Hope it all works out fo...

Gentlemen, thanks for the quick response! Cheers,

RSG

p.s. - John Hall - Does your VT posting re Customer Service position mean Jay Crowley is leaving? Maybe Black Flag convinced him to join the band for a tour? Thanks again.

p.p.s - Really dig the new website BTW!
