36012c63 - waiting so long...

Post by saab95 »

Hello, I ordered a 360\12c63 from Music123 on May 2004. At the moment they told me I should expect getting the guitar by February 2006, but it sounds quite optimistic to me. I'm also very tempted to give up with the c63 and get a used V64, maybe from ebay, as I'm not sure how long will I have to wait for the c63.
What do you say? How much more will I have to wait? (Is it the million dollar question?)
Should I give up and go for a v64 instead?
Thanks.

Welcome, Ariel.

Tough call on that one. I have a V'64 and I'm quite pleased with it but I hear (and the few photos I've seen of the C) the '63 may be worth your wait. I don't know, however, how much real 'difference' there is in the two. Possibly someone who owns a C can fill you in.

Howdy Ariel,

I placed an order for the 325c64 back in May. Due date?? Music123 claims April of 2006. I have no problem with waiting, and I hear it's well worth the wait! I would just grab a pallet of snacks and a video store worth the movies and hunker down! I have not a problem in the world with Ebay but wouldn't you rather be the first owner of the guitar. . .the one and only owner?!?! Image

I waited 2 years for the C64/C64S. Waited 3 years for the C58's. Simply, they were worth the wait. I'm assuming the 360C63/12 and the 325C64 are worth the wait as well.

Hooray!!!!
I actually had a dream last night I bought a c58 off Ebay used. Immediately I noticed when I played it all I could hear was the voice of it's previous owner. And it wasn't John's voice either!! I took it as a definite omen. . .. spooky too!

Just a hint: DON'T watch A HARD DAY'S NIGHT or you will want one NOW and not be willing to wait for the "C" instrument. It is taking all my will power not to jump on a 325v63 and to wait for the 325c64! However, as been previously mentioned, the vintage series guitars are nice too.

Hey Brian, just curious -- about when did you order yours? I also ordered mine thru NCM, around March 7. They told me 10-12 months, with 2-3 coming per month. I'm also hoping for XMAS, and I hate to bug them with "Where am I on the list"...
