IF memory serves, the pickups on these were hi-gains with toaster covers over ground pole pieces, Also, these came stock with Klusons. I believe RIC was using Grovers as standard at that time...

Thanks, guys. And are these chrome, not nickel? And are they considered more desirable than the RIC Deluxe tuners, which I think ARE nickel? Sorry for all of the questions...

"S" Deluxe Tuning Machines

A local Music Store has a 360/12V64 for sale. It played well, looked mostly original, but had tuners that may have been replaced. I've seen dbl-line Kluson Deluxe and Ric Deluxe, but these said "S" Deluxe. Plus they looked like chrome, not nickel. Could these have been changed, or are they original?

I have a '68 370 OS with a white nut. Totally original to the guitar.

I'm not sure that Peter's and the MG NRG above qualify as 1993 reissues, since they don't have dot fret markers. Would a 360S-12 designation be more accurate?

The picture posted above makes one wonder why the 360-12C63 isn't being offered in Amber FireGlo (AFG)...

Yes, Poor Mike. These pictures were taken right before he tragically fell off of the roof of that Brooklyn apartment building with the Les Paul and Broadcaster in his hands. No one knows what became of his collection...

Why not check the pots? Of course, the person with the '72 jack plate might also have had the harness, but it wouldn't be too hard to at least check it out...
