Re: M8 and the 6AV6 tube

Just replaced the tubes, put on a three prong power cord replaced the original speaker with a Weber 8A ...

M8 and the 6AV6 tube

HI,

thanks for the replies.
I found out that the answer is not really, the HIPSHOT bridge has four mounting screws to the 401C64's three. So my choice would be just use two screws which I don't really feel comfortable about because 1) the weight and 2) the distance between the flat bottom of the ...

Hipshot bridge

I know the hipshot replacement bridge has been discussed before but I can't seem to find the answer to my question.... will the hipshot bridge fit on a 4001C64?
is there any drilling or alinement required?

I found that one of the two screws that mount the pickup were cross threaded from the factory.
I was lucky enough to find a tap small enough in my old tool box and ...

Horseshoes crooked

I have a brand new 4001C64 and the horseshoes don’t line up one is slightly forward or is that the other is slightly back?.... well either way. Also one is slightly higher then the other.
I’m sure this is only an ascetic problem and has no affect on the sound … BUT ...
