I remember seeing it when I was young. It did have it's share of inaccuracies. I think I still have a copy on vhs that I taped off TV.

Yes, that's correct. He did a few songs that way, later he used a pedal.
I use an old Vox pedal, and I also have a Morley Silver series from the early 80's. It's very quiet (it's a passive volume pedal).

What volume pedal do you use ?

Hi, Just wondering if anyone uses an old Vox volume pedal for "Yes it is", "I need you" or any song for that matter.
I thought it might be a new topic to discuss.
What kind of volume pedal are you using ?
Pros/cons of your chosen brand.

I posted this one a few weeks ago for Don (because of his knowledge of AC30s). Maybe he's on tour. Does anyone else want to take a shot at it ?

Replacing Vox AC30 reverb tank

Hi Don,
I have a 1970 AC30TB (A VOX PRODUCT). It has one of those dinky little reverb tanks in it. I was wondering if it is possible to change it to a bigger Hammond style tank. I have other amps with the Hammond style and they sound great. They have the classic deep sounding reverbs.
Can I just ...

Hi Don and Jeff, thank you for your replys.
I thought about an early 70's twin without the master volume, I just haven't been able to locate one. I have seen a few used reissues though, I think I'll take my Rick to the store with me and try one out. Thanks again.

Fender Twin Reverb (reissue)

Hello,

I want to start using a Fender (with reverb and trem ...

Here's my first band. We were called The Shapes. We were into The Small Faces, Beatles, Who, Jam, Creation, 60's Freakbeat and Garage. This photo is from '83 or 84'. I still have the Rickenbacker, it's the best guitar I have ever owned. Image
