As I said in a previous thread if I do buy a Tele then i will have a Vox Night Train, Princeton/Deluxe Reverb, Gibson Les Paul Classic Custom and Ricky ...

Re: Fender Amps
Looking at something the size of a twin or single speaker combo.
That covers a lot of ground, almost any Fender amp can be described like that.
Do you want a tube, slid state, digital or analog effects, 6", 8", 10", 12"; how many $$$ do you to spend? Modern or vintage style? We could use ...

Re: Fender Amps
Hi Jeffery
Looking at something the size of a twin or single speaker combo.
It will be used at home or a local music club, not been playing long enough for gigs just yet
Thanks
John

Fender Amps
Hello All
Had my 620/6 a while now through a Vox Night Train, a great combination, and various pedals.
Just wondered if anybody out there is using any Fender Amps and what sort of sound they are getting.
Looking for a second amp, maybe a Fender??????????????????
Thanks
John

Re: String Buzz
Hi Folkie
I had a look at the bridge and the buzzing was coming from there so I raised it a bit and that seems to have solved it. I bought the guitar new but I don't know how long the strings have been on the guitar. I don't know why the buzzing started as the guitar has been either on a stand or ...

Re: String Buzz
Hi Folkie
The string buzz is at it's worst with open strings, I have to fret them harder than normal to kill the buzz, as I say I have not altered the bridge so am puzzled as to why it has started out of the blue?
Thanks
John

String Buzz
Hello
I have owned my beautiful 620/6 Midnight Blue since October last year and am now getting some string buzz that has come from nowhere. I have not changed the set up and I have not given the guitar a knock so I don't know why it has started. Having never owned a Rickenbacker before I have no ...

Taking Care Of Her
Hello All
First of all thanks for your advice on my new amp thread, had a lot of fun trying out some of your suggestions, but not made a decision yet. :D
Second question
What products would the Rickenbacker world recommend for taking care of my beautiful 620/6 in Midnight Blue.
At the moment I ...

Re: New Owner
Hello All
Just like to say thanks for all the advice I have received on this thread, it's much appreciated.
Just to answer johnp's question, I don't have any ambitions to be in a band and don't have access to a rehersal room so something along the lines of a AC15/30 would be plenty big enough. In ...

Re: New Owner
Thanks All
My brother has recentley bought a Vox AC30, so I can try that out the next time I visit. In terms of budget, a AC30 is at the top end but as I have my Vox Night Train I can take a bit of time to make a choice, looks like I have a few choices.

Wait a minute. You just started to learn how to play...and you already have two guitars...and they are a Rickenbacker 620 and a Gibson Les Paul?!?

Hello All
I am now the proud owner of a 620/6 Midnight Blue, what a guitar :) :) :) :) Started to learn how to play in January after 20 years of thinking about it, and I now have the 2 guitars I always wanted, the Other being a Gibson Les Paul.
