Re: Downing Grey needs exceptional Bassist

Re: 1979 4001 need to know if the knobs are correct
yes indeed gentlemen, and thanks. The knobs look very much like the standard Ric knob. But I have never seen them before without the printing on them. You now, Volume ... Treble .... Bass etc. I was just curious to know if Ric ever used knobs like this. I mean perhaps John ran out one afternoon and ...

Downing Grey needs exceptional Bassist
I certainly hope this post is allowed? If not I certainly understand its removal.
But we have what we feel is an exceptional band and we are in the horrible position of having to fire our Berkeley trained bassist recently. We are now obviously searching for someone who can sing some harmonies and ...

Re: Were all Ric Bass tuners stamped "Rickenbacker" ?
Thank you gentlemen, as always.....I am planning on letting this go fairly soon it is a 79, Plays like a dream but I just can't keep it (cash flow) just wanted an opinion on the tuners. Now that I know some were unmarked I am more confident as these have the age on them and look right. Thanks again ...

I have spoken with Dave Pasco once again, I think he must hold a record of sorts for the most owned double ric's.... Dave I really would like to see your guitars all in ...

Looking for a member from a while back
Hery Guy's have not been in here for some time. Sadly sold the Ricks I had including the 5 string conversion I made long ago. Have been doing an acoustic solo thing for fun and profit but now I find I am involved in a prog rock project with some great musicians again an our opening song is Los Endos ...

I backed out from chasing the S-5 and to be honest I thank you guy's for the heads up on the string spacing. I do not think I would be comfortable with anything less than about 2 1/2" across the bridge, anyway Ihave to hang my head in shame..........well at least in here because I did find another ...
